    Default heads ported for s1

    i need to put in a new timing chain soon so iam thinking of getting my heads ported out and a cam in anyone know of a good place to get my heads ported

    you should try that massive place on dandy frankston rd, HM engines or whatever it is. I think its on the corner of green rd. I got a full reco set of heads for the last V8 I did with new seats for $450 changeover. I'm sure they do porting and other performance mods, the place is full of heads all lined up.

    Not worth spending a grand on porting V6 heads, that's a DIY backyard job for sure

    You'll find alot of pages about it on google and pictures etc. Also it's well worth your 40 bucks buying a book about porting heads

    The one I have isn't in print anymore but seems like you can read it on Amazon anyways
