Default keep snapping p/side engine mounts????

at the moment i seam to be snapping the passenger side engine mount once a week, is there any aftermarket support for a stronger engine mount, at the moment i have made it a solid engine mount and theres a 5h1tload of vibration that goes through the car, and yes it is possible to make the v6 engine mount solid.

try replacing both at the same time and the gearbox mount.
maybe one of the others is cactus and putting to much pressure on that side.

How you get the car to have that much touque so it will kill the engine mount once a week???

Prolly doing a Melbourne JC members at Heathcote effort and running aftermarket mounts from Team China racing :P. I'd like to see you break the factory one with any kind of semi decent V6 or 5 litre OR stroker

Yeah, there's a lot of shoddy engine mount brands out there. As Greenfoam said, "team china". They're rubbish.

Pup into Bursons and get yourself two brand new Mackay engine mounts, and a Mackay trans mount. I havn't broken one yet

Holden probably do, worth giving them a call anyway and asking for a price. Then call burson and do the same. Odds are Holden use Mackay mounts anyway, there's not much OEM stuff lying around these days - I had to wait nearly a week for Holden to find me a set of tailshaft flange bolts/nuts!

Well the thing is Holden would have never made an engine mount, but all you need to do is find out who made the good ones for Holden in the first place . Otherwise Holden will still have them and still have them from the same company

As far as I know, Mackay is as close to OEM as you can get. And they're Australian made, which can't be a bad thing

The only difference between Japs and Holdens, is that when something breaks on the Jap you can be guaranteed it's -just- out of reach

lol yer ille agree with that it usually is just out of reach, like the oil pump i just helped my mate with on his 32 gtr lol had to drop the sump off to change it, but the differance will be mine will be a 4 banger so should be plenty of room there mayby 180 spec or higher, but yer mite even just go buy a xr6 turbo they seem to be getting sum nice hp numbers out of them now with small mods
