Default O2 Sensor made no difference

Hey everyone my VN V6 was getting about 200km to a full tank, and just recently i put in a new o2 sensor because my old one wasnt working, but it has made no difference to my fuel economy.

i cant seem to figure out what it is that is making me get crap fuel economy, i have even put in a ss induction, and new coolant sensor

and just before my care kept stalling and flooding when i put my foot down
what do you reckon is wrong??
    thanks in advanced

Sounds like your Fuel Injector(s) are shagged..

But, the main Q is.. Does your car Back fire wile driving ?

But as Wog said, do the Main cleaning first..

    * Clean Pod or Air Box Filter.
    * Check Your Spark Plugs & Leads. & Coil Pack
    * Check Your Fuel Filter - Under the car closest to the Fuel Tank.. Give it a bit of a tap.

Also, there is certain Fuel some VN-VP's dont like.. For eg, if i put Unleaded in mine.. The engine wants to stall out bad. But I have to use Premium :S ..

But, If your car BackFires you are running to rich! OR one of your O-Rings on the fuel injector may have broken and is letting in air.

If it's not. It's most likely your Fuel lines need a clean..Throw some Injector cleaner in, helped me before

But here's somthing to try.. When I had Injector issues I was told to take out the Fuel Pump Fuse in the engine bay.. You should do the same, turn the car on.. It should idle for 3-4 secs before dying,

    Good luck

Yeah, the sender floats get a bit sticky on some cars.

Karsten, when you run your tank empty, how many litres do you stick in at the servo?
