Clutch pedal problem!

Noticed clutch pedal on my vg ute other day doesnt spring back like use to.. had a quick look and found the spring on pedal is broken..

How do i go about getting to it and replacing?? What needs to be done?

find manual commo (up to vs series 1) with spring at wreckers (good luck)

order holden spare parts clutch pedal spring

cost about $5.95 (3 weeks ago) same day delivery

should be able to install diy or very cheap and quick (free) for mechanic buddy.

inside car under steering wheel undo nut/bolt clutch pedal to pedal box

the new part or spring (to be replaced)
- loops around pedal pivot shaft
- hooks around pedal shaft at lower or foot end
- sits inside top of pedal box at upper or steering wheel end
- sounds strange but this spring forces pedal towards engine (or downwards to floor)

the clutch cable from pedal to gearbox sits in hook at very top pedal shaft and forces pedal towards drivers seat but shouldn't need to be messed with if you don't move pedal around too much when slipping the replacement spring on.
