    Default harmonic balancer

    hey people just wondering if anyone knows the average price to a get a harmonic balancer replaced mechanic reckons between 220 and 280 including labour good or not?

    240 is about normal from a mechanic, the part retails for a fair bit and most (not all) mechanics will charge you retail on the parts

    I just got one replaced among other things. I was charged $75 for the part. As for labour I have no idea as there were a few things replaced.
    Oh among the few things replaced were the harmonic balancer x 2. The ass tried to f#$@ me over. I asked him where the second balancer was just for interest and he had no idea how to answer and handed me $75 back lol. Needless to say I will not be heading back there anytime soon.

    If you haven't seen the different types of balancers that are available, maybe you should look.
