Clutch spring???

I just bought a replacement clutch spring for my vg ute due to old 1 being broken.. I tryed to fit it today but it doesnt seem right??

I found a diagram on the net of re installing it, in diagram looks nice tight my spring is still floppy no pressure on it??

Any 1 got the gregorys manual? plz help !! Could some body take a picture of what theres looks like as well for me?

if you mean the clutch pedal spring it should be pushing the pedal down if its fitted right

Hey mate yer thats the one. i added a pic as well.. Mine doesnt really have any tension on it..

Still having trouble with this darn spring! is it spose to have tension on it or just be a bit floppy?

Supposed to have tension. Mine isnt in the right way because I dont have a clue how you can bend the spring that much lol. Almost seems like a health hazard trying

Screw that diagram. No way will the spring bend that far! Had another go today but after playing around with it for a while I found another way . The pedal now sinks to the floor with no cable attached. Never used to do that.

LOL Yer thats what i thought! No way i can bend the spring that far!! I took the spring out got sick of trying!! thanks for that pic il try that way now! looks and seems like a better fit there then the diagram way!
