    Default Climate Control LCD Lights

    Climate control LCD lights dont work, can you change them? If so how?

    you can, 88greenvn changed his to blue, i believe he said it was difficult and he broke a few in the process though if i remember right

    There is 2 types of globes in the climate module. The LCD screen is lit by 2 tube type globes and the buttons are lit by T5 neo wegde. 2 of each type is needed for a complete change.

    As said u need the tube type globes if u want the standard look back 4 the LCD screen but since ur pulling it appart u may aswell put in LEDs even if they r green they will look and last alot longer.

    Well i got this climate modual new, just bought a while ago and replaced another one i had in there that the lights worked on. So wouldnt it be very unlikely to have both globes blown? So i duno... dont want to pull it apart to find its not the globes.

    there are 4 globes in the module. The LCD units are soldered in.

    Its not the 2 globes thats the problem, they work, LCD ones dont. So its getting power for the lights, im just going to send it back.

    Yep that's what I would do if you purchased it new - probably been dropped.
