If your just swaping them stright over it wont work and it will go up in smoke. You can change the backing of it so it will fit tho, i had lvl2 VS in my VN before the lvl3.

Trip computer is all wrong too. Low fuel alarm goes off when the over speed is triggered and when you get low fuel the speed warning has fun.

    Not worth the effort.

The level 3 clusters are fail on several fronts. The wires are different, voltage regulators, PCB, trip computer. Only items to be changed are the cluster case and the set of gauges.

For level 2 it's the same - case and gauges can swap between VN and VS. Just not the cluster PCB or voltage regulator.

Much easier gettin one from a calais. If your lucky (alot of series 1 vn's) youl have the trip computer plug there as well, mine was tucked up behind the dash covered in gooey stuff.

Unless you mean swapping a level 3 vn for a level 3 vs. Which I believe just results in smoke

I think alot of the NZ VN's went with the Calais loom in them and L1 or L2 clusters.
