Well diff gears would help, but if your gong diff gears you may aswell put a mini spool in while you have your diff open..

If your diff has any 'play' in it at all, it will wear out, eventually. Spools never wear out, which is why so many people use them. 4 years on mine, no issues

You can only put a spool in an open wheeler housing, not an LSD housing, so you'd have to find out which one you had (or a better option, get a complete other diff, with the spool, and keep your current one in the shed if you want to change it back)

You'll have to wait for someone else to answer that, i hate everything to do with LSDs, so don't care to look at them lol

Put the rear on a jack, turn one wheel, if the other wheel turns the opposite way its a single wheeler. If it turns the same way, it's an LSD.

For burnouts, go with a spool. For a daily driven/street car, go with an LSD.

Those people have probably never driven with a spool, just had their mates dads brothers, neighbour down the road tell them its bad.

I guess it depends on how often it's used for burnouts. My car does the odd burnout, but i don't do loops, that's what destroys LSD's. For the odd straight line burnout, an LSD is fine.

The good thing about a spool is they're cheap. If you get the shits with it, pull it out and sell it for nearly what you paid for it.

I have respect and cant afford to fix major issues so researching more i think i am going to stick with what it has until it blows apart and then i can toughen it up.I like the minispool idea and want one but cant afford to come unstuck with my kids in the car if its wet.
