after sitting at the lights for awhile the fan kicks in when the temp is getting to high so far thats normal, but everytime the temp rises my battery light comes on as well and goes off when the temp lowers, only been doing it for 3 weeks or so.
Checked battery and replaced, checked alternater and replaced now i have no idea what it could be

check the wiring you may have the battery light wire touching earth, check from alternator and where it goes into the lume?
tell me what you find?
i think i found my problem, about 5 inch from the back on the alternater i found some really bad wires, when i went to move them they SNAP!, im guessing due to old age and heat , would it be best to run my own wire or should i goto the wrckers and grab the battery harness off another commy?

Making a new wire yourself will probably be best; other cars will be some way down the road to the same problem. You then also have the opportunity to upgrade the wire size or quality.
