    Default Vp big vibration help!

    Finaly the vp has the new paint job, new dash and the 5ltr in..Took it for a test drive today and after 60 all it had was vibration from some where....I have been told to get a TAIL SHAFT BALANCE but will this fix the problem or is it something else.....Please help....Cheers guys.

    centre bearing - look for grease around it.

    Yer center bearing. I just had my new vn calais roadworthy checked and it has a shudder when accelerating i was also told the bearing.

    Has the tail shaft been apart? If so it will need balancing if the two halves didn't go back together in exactly the same position. Same if the two halves are from different tail shafts.

    Other than that, as mentioned, it could be the centre bearing, it could be a uni joint, or it could be a balance or tyre problem on the rear.

    all fixed now. was the centre bearing, cheers for ya help guys
