Memcal performance chip vp

how good are these memcal chips? how do they go with 304's?

Turns your 304 into a well tuned responsive beast....you will notice the difference if done by the right guys(delcowizzid and Greenfoam) as seriously there are rip offs on every other site but the guys here have a proven track record mate. IT MAKES IT BETTER! Ask these guys how or maybe they will post in this thread for you.

Yes I did condsider it I've done about 15 since then but they were ones I owed people, still have a few more of those to finish up. So I'll continue to be in hiding until then . Plus I'm going to the shed for a few days to put my cam in. But I might find a hour to make you something somewhere along the weekend

Sorry to Hijack this thread, but I have a VP Senator is there any point in getting a new chip made up for this car. Everything is stock apart from extractors. It already has the HSV Chip in it with the knock sensor.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

to install it you just take off the passenger kick panel, unplug the computer, take out the screws, take out the computer, replace memcal, and put it all back together. reeeealy easy

thanks for the info, i didnt realize it was that easy. how does one of these go compared to a dyno tune? as i have ford injectors in mine and its over fueling. i tried to fix the problem by putting in some ls1 injectors, but it lost power. i guess my question is will this chip work well with over sized injectors.

Edit: just cheked out memcal chip, it says it takes it from 165 to 185 kw. i already have a 185 lol. i ran 162rwkw on the dyno if that helps.

greenfoam might have a tune to suit different injectors, but the tunes they are talking about in this thread will not help your situation much. With different injectors you need to account for the change in flow.

greenfoam will do you a custom tune for anything you have for $100. it would be pretty damn close to a dyno tune and you'd get way more performance for your money if you bought other parts with the $900 you just saved
