Started out having no guts when i put my foot down, today it idled fine then when i accelerated it "choked" and stalled. Its pumping fuel and has battery and the simple stuff. Has any one had a similar problem or know what is causing it?
do u have spark? does it run when u put your foot on the pedal a lil?
Sounds like a blockage in the exhaust system, might need to check your cat and/or muffler.

Un bolted the exhaust system at the cat so its coming out at the end of the Y piece under the car, it has spark but wont kick over at all now.
Won't kick over meaning it won't actually turn over or it turns over but won't start?
Does the fuel pump prime when turning on the ignition?
How old is the fuel filter?

its turning over but wont start. fuel pump primes, dont know how old the fuel filter is.
"Started out having no guts when i put my foot down"
my car had same problem when i blew my coil pack?
Do you have spark?
I would give the fuel filter a few thumps and see if it starts.

Can't say i know what the problem is exactly, to be honest it sounds like a couple of problems rolled into one. I'll copy paste from the common faults section see if anything sounds familiar.
"Oxygen sensor - The Oxygen (O2) sensor is an exhaust probe that measures the amount of unburnt fuel in the exhaust gases. The ECU uses this sensor to trim fuel delivery and maximize efficiency. O2 sensors are a common item to fail and can cause erratic engine idle and performance. O2 sensor problems will usually store a fault code in the ECM."
"Throttle body - The throttle body is responsible for idle and acceleration control. The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve is bolted to the throttle body and controls idle speed and stability. The IAC works by allowing air to bypass the throttle body butterfly, and the amount of air supplied controls engine idle speed. The throttle butterfly and the IAC bypass ports can clog with carbon which can directly affect idle control and idle speed. To rectify carbon and idle problems, the throttle body assembly should be removed, cleaned and reset to factory settings."
"Catalytic converter - Catalytic converters are responsible for filtering oxides from exhaust gas to reduce emission. The inners of a catalytic converter are similar to honeycomb, and can become clogged with carbon and unburnt fuel. In this scenario, exhaust flow is dramatically reduced and engine power is taxed. A typical scenario of a blocked catalytic converter is when a vehicle struggles to rev over 2500 rpm. Competent exhaust mechanics can diagnose and/or check catalytic converters if needed."

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Found the problem. Changed the fuel filter and it kicked over, i had run the tank to empty so it may have been clogged with the crap form the bottom of the tank. changed it and runs fine. Might put a bottle of injector cleaner through.
