Will a VR,Vs or Vt Steering Wheel fit a Vp?

Yes, but if using the VP shroud, you will have approx 25mm gap between it and the steering wheel.

Is there an easier way of changing the shroud to vr?

Don't know, I never bothered changing mine.

I've got a non-airbag VS one on the VN wagz and it passed it's roady in VIC with the gap between wheel & shroud fine
Indicators cancel correctly and horn works fine so should be all good
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
i have a mint vr/vs surround is anyone is intrested just pop me an message. had the vr one on my 88 vn and like what people said it was the gap and indicator canceling
So you can actualy get the indicators to work as well if you put the shroud on?

When I fitted the VR wheel to the 91 Calais the indicator failed at first and on closer inspection the indicator unit was not plugged into the slot properly.
Basiclly the same units (VN, VP, VR) with different stalk so they should work. Pull the indicator out again and make sure it's all the way home properly and both locators are in the slots.

Trying to find a good vp or vn wheel first.Need a rwc done so it needs to be good....Its like trying to find a good roof lining at the wreckers for a vp or vn(lol).

Most VN VP steering wheels need drilling and glueing to firm them up. I've done 3 now and all are still in daily action
Basiclly you drill out the foam from behind in 4 or 5 spots and put a good quality glue in to it. I use black bostic body moulding glue (side door bump moulds). Works a treat.
Only thing to wach out for is that you dont rip the outer casing of the wheel when removing the foam. And dont go silly with the glue (plenty of rags for clean up) the neater the finish the less it looks like it's been fiddled with.
When set (24 hours) I trim with a very sharp blade or light sand with 120 grit.
