Holden VN VP VR VS VT heavy duty sway bar link bush - eBay, Other Car Parts, Accessories, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 20-Oct-09 09:41:47 AEDST)
Seems cheap enough, anyone bought these before.
Wondering about the quality of the bushes?
I just chucked a set of nolathane sway bar bushes in the front and rear sway bars of my VN. Same material, so i would assume it would do the job well. As for the link pins i'm not too sure, mine are the original and are straight. And the price is reasonable so why not?

I fitted the Nolathane ones that look the similar to these (Z shape) and they lasted for ages unlike the std factory setup with straight links.
The price is half what I paid also on ebay so I say go for it.
Look at post #56 page 3 of my wagon link.
I know from the pic they look straight but they are the curved ones just the angle the pic is taken from.

My vehicle manual says seven to ten Newton metres (on the bushes for the link pins, fifteen to twenty five for the sway bar insulators). When i buy a torque wrench that information will be of use to me.

Make sure you tighten them up with the car lowered. Last thing you want is to blow out a pinched bush![]()

There's no 'squash' in the nylon. If you overtighten then they will just split and crush.
beware of the wasp ones and alike the bastard arsed bushes are hollow
I have wasp onesthey are fine thus far
Also I believe even if you're retarded like me and put them in the wrong way, as long as you don't tighten them up too much you'll be ok, they tend to work themselves toward the correct orientation over time

the wasp ones are shocking. i had 2 bushes split and they disappeared whilst driving. there was loud rattling noises while i was driving and i couldn't work it out until i pulled over and had a good look. went and got a nolathane kit with new bushes and the bars. its simply the best. if i were you, if be changing the kit.
by wasp, does that literally just mean the yellow ones? it's an extra $16 (price difference taking postage into consideration) for nolathene, may as well do it properly

wasp are the shitty blue ones that stuff up on you every 2-3 months or so.
nolathane is gun! x]
lol, my Wasp links have been given a hard time over the past 6+ months, and they're holding up fine so far. When I blow out a bush I'll just replace the bushes with Nolathane, no big dealThere are other things in my suspension that need attention well before then, like my massively trampy rear trailing arms, and my weird knocky lower control arms.
