hey guys speedo stopped working on me the other day, doesn't read or clock up k's on the odometer. just seeing what could of caused this and how to fix it? how does it read what speed you are doing, is it an electrical sensor or mechanical? would it be at the sender or the dash? all help is appreciated. gonna go outside and fiddle with it shortly.
p.s bashing the dash didn't help it (but it made me feel better lol)

Hey make sure the fuse is all good and if it is it's most likely the sensor on the transmission
2 things. first it could be the speed sensor in the gearbox.
second could be the regulator behind the speedo in the cluster - they get cracked solder joints and need just a little touch up.

cheers mate funny thing happened today. I bought a new o2 sensor because i got the error code pop up. i replaced it and disconnected the battery for a while then went for a strap around the block and the speedo started working properly again![]()
