Has anyone done this?
i got one with high pressure pump which
i want to set up to a surge tank and bosch 044.
main difference is the plug to sender and return
fitting is part of the sender.
The original tank had the lift and external pump
and internal pump died and found the tank to be leaking
round a fitting so needed another tank anyway.
Should be the exact same setup as a VP you would expect, one pump style
yer its the same except for the plug being different on a vs one to a vr sender unit
I think too the IRS and solid diff tanks are different
Well the straps are different, not sure about the tank itself, I think they are the same
i have an irs tank from a v8 next to a v6 live axle, i see no real difference except the bigger tank for the v8 one
found out its vs i got a plug and new pump
has anyone got a vn wiring diagram?
I have a book on vr/vs.
tanks are identical apart from vn v8 wich has
return on the right front side of the tank and vs has
it in the sender assy itself.
vn sender uses a tan and black wire to the actual sender...tan is from cluster and black to earth.
pump wiring is 2 violet wires (one tees off other ) and feeds 12v from fuel pump relay to pumps and black to earth with the white from second pump teeing off black wire
