damn that shits me, its always girls in excels! i saw a girl roll her 2 door excel right in front of me once in pacific pines. she looked like she was going about 70 or 80, that was entering the roundabout! tried to steer around but the body roll was too intense and she just rolled right off LOL. stupid young girls think there stuck to the road, then they go and do that shit and its the young guys who get branded as the worst drivers! most of the accidents with young guys are caused buy grandpa's nd grandma's going to slow for them. especially entering highways. i saw an old man once trying to enter the highway at 50km/h, ive seen an old man going the wrong way round the roundabout and trying to enter the highway on an off ramp! its ***ed how the old people are considered the experienced ones whilst there reaction time and overall intelligence for the road is up the s h i t.
end rant. sorry to see the ride that way

Damn that sucks mate, what a loss. I'm always paranoid about that sort of thing happening. If it does happen to me i'll have to weigh up the situation and whether or not i think there was negligence involved on the part of the other driver as to whether i seriously hurt them. If more people worked on their own cars i would almost guarantee you the rate of rear end incidents would halve overnight.

I know this is an old thread but just be mindful if another person hits your car and they are insuded then their insurance company is liable for the cost of the damage they cause. They have no right to write off your car and then tell you want it is worth ie how much theyt want to pay you because you have no contract with them. They are liable for the full cost of the damage and try to get out of it cheaper by saying it's market value is less than the damage with no consideration at all as to the cars condition etc.
That VP could be fixed if it cost more than the market value to repair it and you wanted your car fixe then I would argue the point.

Sorry 'bout ya ride. Yeah mate Wortus is right. You don't have a contract with those people and if they are gonna get snakey then you need to sue her for the difference. Not your fault it's her problem.
    Keep ya chin up.
