Cant find anything on this in old threads. I have finally fitted cruise control to my vp wagon and last night finally put the bracket on the throttle body, clicked the cable into the holder and went to hook the cable up to the throttle but it wont reach its about 50mm to short checked that it is off and extended right out at the module end.
Question is there more than 1 cable length or have I been bullshitted to and the donor module didnt come off a v6 vn/vp
come on help anyone
Heres a picture of mine on a VP.
Has your cable clipped in as far as the picture?
Does it have a similar throttle connection?
The cruise control box sits in the same position from VN to VR, i don't know where later models are fitted.
Illegitimi Non Carborundum
The V8 mounts in front of the strut tower and the V6 down under the air box on the chasis rail.
As far as I know they are the same - I've fitted cruise to both my V8 and V6 and never looked.

Looks exactly the same as the picture but inner cable wont reach the throttle 50mm short must be wrong cable so bought another one off ebay with module for 15 bucks (cheap fix hopefully)
pull the cable out all the way.
do you have the bracket mounted correctly.
is the knob on the throttle in the right place?
cable is all the way out
bracket is the right one and mounted correctly
knob is correct
might be a latter model cable
