Default Theres a knock in the front end.

Before I get mauled over this topic being posted before I want to say that I know but there was no ending to the post.

Last week a knock in the front end started. It was really only noticable while driving but now if I sit at the lights you can hear it. It really sounds as though there is something lose. It is more of a metalic sound than anything.
And it is only noticable after the engine heats up. When cold there is nothing there, which also leads me to think of lose bolts. When cold everything is all tight but heated all joints are expanded.

Now something I will get laughed at is this. Engine mounts is one thing I have gathered it could be. BUT here we go where the F#$@ are they lol. From what I can see I have one in my sight but thats it.

    Any help would be AWESOME

    cheers Scott

Mine used to knock..But it was caused by my left Strut.. The top had cracked..and was banging around..

I'd say.. grab an LED torch and have squiz around the engine..

As for engine mounts.. I couldnt help you.. Im still learning about my engine LOL
