    Default Locks and doors

Ok looks like the good old key is to grinded down to far to be recut and geting a lock smith to fix me another key is not worth the hassel, now the question
How hard is it to replace the front door locks ,ignishion barrel, and boot lock?
Gonna head to the wreckers and grab another set of locks and keys today

(Dont care if its been covered before im asking again)

What you would go to a wreckers get locks, spend time remove and refit locks. rather than just go to a Locksmith to get key decoded and cut to code

    Mate $400 its a VN/VP yeah?

should cost you no more than $50 if you take your worn key to a Locksmith and get it decoded and a new one cut to code

But if locksmiths are full of shit good luck with your quest, what would I know only been in the trade 25 years

i only replaced my ignition barrel and boot lock, and it was more then $40, yeah sure, i got mine new, and the boot lock ****ed up anyway. but ya know.
assuming this key is to suit the vn s pac, never seen a key for one, but gonna guess its the same as my calais one, just a key? no remote attatched to it? if so, really shouldnt cost much to get a key cut, and its just allot less work, imo go to a different locksmith, and see what kinda price they give, cause $400 for a key is just insane.

    good luck mate
