Exclamation Vn V6 bad idle, missing and very sluggish

Hi all i know this has been a very common thread, but this has me stumped.I have a series 2 vn v6 wagon, and on idle its very rough and jumps up n down, kind of surges and coughs and sounds like its missing as well.

I have changed the plugs, leads, coil pack, computer, crank angle sensor, none of this fixed the problem,i have done a fault code test and it comes up systems ok(code 12).Even taken it to a mechanic to see if he could find out wat was wrong with it,and he couldnt either,he said he took the throttle body off and cleaned it but as far as i know he didnt change any sensors on it.Its also very sluggish when trying to accelarate hard,(only on gas)and it feels like its missing,(again only on gas).

Im currently getting a new fuel pump for it so i can piss the gas off as it takes up so much room and is just SHIT.Just want to sort the idle out tho.

I have also reset the ECU and am wondering if it can be the IAC valve or if its something else.

The car is on gas,but it runs fine on gas apart from the idle, but the idle is the same on fuel and gas,so that makes me wonder wat else it could be,hopefully changing the IAC will solve this problem.

Any input would be highly appreciated and very helpful, cheers

How fresh is the petrol in the tank ? have you check injector spray pattern ? whats the fuel pressure like and is the fuel pressure reg leaking fuel into your manifold ? was the fuel pump running when on gas may have cooked your injectors ? ??? etc etc ???? check your injector cut relay and wiring maybe crappy connection or a low amp supply to injectors takes more than volts to run an injector ?.....

hi the petrol in the tank was very fresh and the tank was cleaned and flushed, but its been on just GAS for about 4months now.cos of the fuel pump being stuffed, and havent had a chance to get around to fixing it until now.The mechanic said that when it was running on gas that the injectors were pumping petrol in as well as gas,at the same time,so he disconnected the injectors. And i will try all of the above, but it still idles exactly the same on gas and petrol,SHIT,up and down and missing and very low, almost stalls all the time.

ok,just a quick update to the problem at hand, have put a new fuel pump in,and it will idle on fuel, very rough tho, worse then when its on gas,but when driving on fuel it stalls when given any throttle.then wont start for a while again.havent tried the TPS or the IAC yet tho,and did a fault code test on it when running on petrol and it came up code 13,o2 sensor, will try replacing that and see if it makes any difference,i hope it does, because if it doesnt i have no idea wat is wrong with it,have taken it to 2 different mechanics and they have no idea either,i will try the o2 sensor tmrw and if that doesnt work the only thing left to do i spose is the 2 sensors on the the TB,any ideas anyone?pls help, this has me stumped well and truly!!
