    Default will it look ok?

Ok, so i have a VP sedan, which was respayed at some point, by it's previous owner. My front and rear bumper have sustained some fairly serious paint work damage since then, and are in need of a repair.. The paint used in the respay, was a slightly different shade of colour, meaning purchasing replacement body parts from a wreckers isn't an option. So i was wondering, could i just get the bumpers, grill and garnish (mine is cracked anyway) from a VN, and fit them. I don't mind the look of the VN, and i was quoted by a wreckers $150 all up for the parts,so it's a hell of a lot cheaper, than having anything resprayed.

But, will everything go on reasonably easy? and will it look ok? i don't want to do it, and then for some reason it look stupid. The only thing i can think of that will look out of place, is the colour coded side skirt sort of strip, as oposed to being black......

The VN Bumpers will fit for sure but you'll have to rewire the number plate lights because the VNs have that light on the rear bumper instead of the garnish. I don't know about the grill though as i've been told by more then a few people that the VPs have a slightly different shaped headlight. Also a couple of the mounting points for the VN garnish won't line up perfectly, but that's nothing a drill can't easily fix.

As for the look, it should look like a VN with VP Indicators.

It's going to look awful, and you'll be able to tell from a mile away. I've done it before for a friend who wasn't fussed about the appearance of his car.

A VN/VP hybrid just looks like an abortion.

If you do it, you're also going to need VN headlights and VN indicators.

which means getting vn guards aswell.

it will look crap, stick with vp gear unless going a bodykit.

the vp and vn headlights/grille are at different angles where they meet, so they will bolt up, but wont line up or look right.

in short, save your money up and do it properly the first time.
