g'day, was driving the vp ss today and on the highway its started to make this humming noise. its not the engine as when i push the clutch in the humming doesnt leave. it also sends a funny vibration through the throttle and brake pedals. i just replaced the center bearing and cv in the tail shaft. im thinking it could be the gearbox or diff..... but im not too sure. it only does the vibration at 100, and very lightly at lower speeds say in 3rd or 4th gear.. about 60km/h. any suggestions?
cheers jono
check your wheels mate.
i would say out of balance probably the rears
Warped rotors? If you can feel it through the brake pedal, don't know why you would feel it on the accelerator tho?
