So I'm thinking minitubs might be a good idea, someone tell me something I don't know about them
Any info appreciated, thinking i could put some in myself while the floor is stripped anyway before I paint it.
They a pain in the arse?

i have no more road signs for youmight want to hit up an engineer to see if it destroys structural integrity ):
Have to run floating axles aswell im thinking...?
"If you're going through hell, keep going"
Hmm. OK now I have two things to learn aboutminitubs, and floating axles. I'm thinking nothing TOO extreme, just bringing the arches in to the rail on either side so shouldn't impact integrity too much if any.

Minitubs will have no impact on structural strength, if you only take the tub in to the rail. Apparently in some states it's also perfectly legal to run minitubs in a street car, as long as you haven't touched the rails at all, I'm yet to double check that for WA. I'll have a look at the VN tomorrow and see if anything unfolds before my eyes![]()

Should be a federal law really. It's at least suggested in the federal guidlines that it's not an engineer required mod. So long as you can get fat enough wheels it'll look mint. The Group A ran them with a VL diff
Fat wheels is the planNice widened incterceptors under the rear I think.. or maybe Centerlines or something, I have so many nice drag style wheels to choose from.

I've mini tubbed a few cars, i'm actually in the process of mini tubbing a VK sedan. That is having 15"x10" Centreline convo pros with 295/50/15's under it. Any questions, feel free to ask or add me to MSN.
Thanks mate I'll do that if I get too far stuck![]()

Can I ask why you want minitubs on a VN V6 that runs 15.7 ??
