    Default vn electrical problem

    ok well the other night while on the way back from a weekend trip to hervey bay about 2 hours from home and in pouring rain the car started acting up.......electricals blinking in and out all the time (never caused motor to stall) now after advice from a few auto elecs we put another second hand alternator in it and well it was running fine all day today up till this arvo when it stall on me half way round a roundabout from the electricals blanking totally out enough to make the radio reset like battery had been un plugged (it never reset the radio on way home) any idea's guys???

    sounds like a bad connection somewhere, how do your battery terminals look? make sure they are clean and secure..
    I'd also be checking for loose fusible links and go over all the earths in the engine bay

    terminals look good and so does the fusible links will look at the earths when i got more light thanks
