kinda need some help guys,
ive eh, locked my keys in the boot of my VN, andd the back seat that folds down is covered with a gas tank, and the rear shelf is sealed, no holes in it, + none of my mates drive a VN, so they dont have a key
i really do not have the cash to call out a lock smith either,
any suggestions ?
crow bar ;-)
dont spose you have a boot release button? try a few other holden keys my VT keys open my cousins Vs ute ( wont start it though lol) and my VS keys open the boot on my VT after abit of a jiggle also the other day when i was down town when i pressed the button to pop the boot on my VT i unlocked the ute infront of me hahaha
might try mates VS and another mate VX key, but i think weve done that once before and it didnt work lol, and no i dont have a boot release
/sadface
they made vns without a boot release? that sucks real bad. my old vn had one next to the fuel cap release, and my vp has one in the glovebox.
have you ever taken the rear seat out before? it's pretty easy. get your hands between where the seat joins the backrest, and pull the seat up. you'll figure out how it works. then undo the bolts that hold the backrest in, pull them up, and take them off. there are a few holes behind the seat... you may be able to pick up your keys with a magnetised rod if any of the holes clear the gas tank.
bahaha. thats sucks!!! all u can do is laugh i spose! but yeah, try different keys![]()
my gas tank, take up the width of the car, with supports on the side, i cant get anything through the side of it either not even a wire![]()

Remove rear bumper and use wire to 'fish' out the keys through the plastic vent. Unless I am dreaming things and this won't work.....

am i correct in saying you need the boot open to remove the rear bumper?
Australia. Love it or leave it
Are u sure it doesnt have a boot release, check behind the glovebox (about where the release should be) for any unplugged wires.
i thought VN sedans had a boot release in the glove-box? i have a wagon, so it doesn't.
You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. This is your wake up call.
Yep i've a series one Exec sedan and it has the boot release in the glove box. It's a little black button top front and to the right below the dash. If not sucks to be you. Pull out the parcel shelf, and if you **** it get a new one from the local wreckers.
