they made vns without a boot release? that sucks real bad. my old vn had one next to the fuel cap release, and my vp has one in the glovebox.

have you ever taken the rear seat out before? it's pretty easy. get your hands between where the seat joins the backrest, and pull the seat up. you'll figure out how it works. then undo the bolts that hold the backrest in, pull them up, and take them off. there are a few holes behind the seat... you may be able to pick up your keys with a magnetised rod if any of the holes clear the gas tank.

Just drill the barrel out with a 10mm drill bit and get another lock

Remove rear bumper and use wire to 'fish' out the keys through the plastic vent. Unless I am dreaming things and this won't work.....

This is a good idea and probly will work fi you use a torch and there isnt any crap in the way, the lock is also pretty weak if you put a blunt object in it like a screw driver and force down it will pop it open.

i thought VN sedans had a boot release in the glove-box? i have a wagon, so it doesn't.
You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. This is your wake up call.

Yep i've a series one Exec sedan and it has the boot release in the glove box. It's a little black button top front and to the right below the dash. If not sucks to be you. Pull out the parcel shelf, and if you **** it get a new one from the local wreckers.
