god this is frustrating as lol i have been planing on doin an engine swap on my vn to a rb30 manual then one day turboing it buttt now i am thinkin i dont no if its worth it and if i have enough money to mess round with it so i was thinkin maybe gettin a supercharger and just puttin a manual box on the back of me v6 whats ur opinions?? all comments welcome guys convince me which way to go i have about 4g to spend

already read the whole thing lol and then half again yesterday i just need ppls encoragment i think lol im shittin weather it will pass the roadworthy with the vl engine in it :S just cos some places r wankers lol and dont no if its better to buy a vlt and put the engine in or get a vl n/a n get it regoed the try build a vlt engine for it ??? ahhh so many questions neeed answers

It can and will pass rwc with a VL motor (assuming it's installed correctly as per the relevant ADR's) however getting any aftermarket blower and/or turbo thru just isn't going to happen whatever you do.Originally Posted by millaz88

yeh im kinda thinkin im doin to waste a heap of money i can really waste lol i think i have found a vl manual for $1500 then i still have to fix up the suspention up for the roadworthy and get the wireing done i dont really no how im goin to go with the money side of things :S plus i still need a engine crane

nah its fine only got 160ks on it just is gutless :P it will be for sale when i pull it out if anyone is interested lol just had a new thurmostat fitted plugs and leads had new head gaskets fitted about 6 months ago
Uhh personally i would work the current engine you have?
Also nothing wrong with a Auto with a stage 2 shift kit.
Only milk and juice comes in 2 litres.

walbro gss342 fuel pump $150
radiator hose kit $140
goin to get oil/fuel filter and oil tomoro also need to get the injectors looked at for the vl engine aswell by the sounds of things also gettin some 20" rims aswell $1450 with tyres so that will be goodanyone think of anything els i need for now?
