Default EDIT: VP v6 to v8 using vs grange

Hey, i searched all the posts relating the conversion, and i learned alot, i just have another question i couldnt find the answer too. I have a worked series 2 vp v6 5 speed, and a smashed vs 5L grange as a donor car. The 5L in the grange is worked to about 230rwkw so naturally i want to save it.

The question is whether or not i can get everything i need out of the vs for the conversion, such as springs, k frame, brakes, power steering, loom/computer?, radiator, extractors etc, or is some parts not interchangable between the models. Bare in mind the engine bay of the VR is not damaged from the accident.

Also my VP has slotted rotors front and back, is this stock or upgraded??

Thanks in advance and i appreciate any info i can get, cheers!

EDIT: VS GRANGE NOT VR SORRY!

Who told you the 5 litre is making 230 rwkw?. Just don't expect that to be quite true because that's a fairly serious (very serious) 5 litre. Sloted rotors are not stock and yes just about everything you need will be in the grange

But you can't use the springs, because I bet the Grange will be IRS.

Your slotted rotors aren't standard, but your braking power will all depend on what sort of pads you run - slotted rotors can't help bad brake pads

You'd have to modify the carpet, rear seats, roof lining and other plastic garnishes to suit.

Rear springs are the same between V6 and V8 anyway, so you can use the springs

fronttttttt springs Mortons, you don't need the rear ones since they are the same v6=v8 so they just go on the boat to China
