    Less accelerator? Decent tires?

Can't really do much else... to handle the best in the wet don't be a ****ing dipshit and try n drive like a v8 super car driver.
Only milk and juice comes in 2 litres.

As above, better tyres. Might be cheaper getting decent tyres from here tho, as opposed to buying them from America like they suggested.

    What would tyre size change?

As said, skinnier tyres works, as it dispells(sp) the water better.

You haven t tryd drifting on wet roads then. More tire on the rd more grip. As long as you dont by crap tires. 15s and cheap tires = gutter

Why would I try to drift on wet roads, Im not FuLlY SiCk!11!!

How about 15's, plus good tyres, you buy shit tyres in all sizes. I fail to see how changing rim size would affect handling in the wet, its not like tyre roll is a serious issue in the wet.

For normally handling, a skinnier tyre is the prefered as it has less surface area, making it easier and more effective to dispell water.

Just wanna know for my own info, do you deliberately spell it 'tire'? Or did you genuinely fail English?

umm, wider tyres generally mean less grip in the wet...

I am running 275 yokohamas, and they're rather poor in the wet...

but then again wider tires (stealthy) can also improve the stopping power in the wet. i was able to stop quite well in the rain with the 17 inch 235 tyres. within two days of putting on new bobjane all rounders 15 inch 205 i aquaplanned into a stationary 4x4 at 100 clicks

nice to see some one who knows wat i ment. I dont like the feel of thin tyres and small wheels in the wet

my ute came stock with 15s just doing 80km on the highway i would hit a puddle and start sliding, since ive put 18s on with good tyres doing 80 and hit a puddle it doesnt slide or nothing now grips much better, much safer then before

Just get better tyres and that's the end of that, they are responsible for 95% of the grip you have in the wet. General rule, if you can spin 2 tyres in the wet in any stock Commodore then youre tyres are no good

mind you i have big bastards on now and i cant get traction in the wet, no grip. all depends on tyre spec, driver mentality and road surface conditions.

you can give a person the ideal wet driving conditions, the best tyres and the ****er will still kill himself too many factors. the best method for driving in the wet is slower, less agressive driving and if that means sitting twice the distance behind sumone then so be it.

in the rain more people than ever seem to be stupid . the ones right up your arse honking because your an extra car length behind the car infront of you, or the person in front suddenly braking then indicating, or the dipshit next to you that cant see infront swerving into your lane

decent tyres, easier to find in 17"/18" ($150each+, low tread wear rating, high = poor grip). good shocks/springs (not too low or too hard shocks). swaybars and a strut brace. also, DECENT wheel alignment, dont cheap out on a shit alignment.

my old re92s would lose traction easy as in the wet. i recently got some new ls2000II's and have yet to lose traction with them, even when i tried.

i've never seen anyone "drift" a v6 auto commodore, it more ends up as a single pegger into a gutter, or a "lack of power skid"

a decent Tyre will do it all, my magna goes nearly as good in the wet as it does in the dry and its bog stock just has some good tyres fitted.
