anyone tryed 40 km/h trick

has anyone tryed the 40km/h trick, well it aint no trick it just involves crusing on 40 k for a sec then putting the peddel to the floor. the car drops back a gear and throw ya back in the seat crying .

lol I'll give it a go in the mornin, I put my foot down when exiting a corner (say comin out of aroundabout) just enough to not kick the arse end out or kick back a gear.. Throws ya into the seat and wakes anyone up in the car!!

haha i did that in the wet one day.. and the car decided it wanted to continue down the whole street doin a burnout.. haha my bad!.. nah ye ya can do it at 50 but u gott physically put the shifter into 1st.. its only around 40 when it will shift bak to first by itself

Nice trick. The 304 in my ss kicks u back no matter and really gives u that kick in the pants and sound ya want in a commodore.

Go thru the gears in the auto peak out 1st and click it into second and its fun he he but stuffs up the bands in the trans.

mines the same, any speed under 130 and itll drop back and suck eyballs.

Better to stick it in 1st, cruise along until about 35-40ks, it's the real sweet spot on the VN then floor it, on a damp road in a V6 that will give you an instant wheelspin and rev limiter and fairly rapid ride to 65-70 km/h, on a dry road it's just a quick ride

lol, yeah i love doing that, dont do it in a fifry zone though, if theres a speed camera instant fine.

i did it with five people in the car, and because the car is lowered the muffler scraped as the bonnet went up. not good.


its best to do it just b4 you gte completely straight (in a V6 that is) cause you will get chirpies into 2nd, a very good thing to do when there is rice around, makes them fear your big engine

Nice, Might try it 2morrow on the way down to Rosebud, The gearbox i picked up has had it's gear ratios changed and it's taking me a while to get used to. (Was like this when i got the reco box) 0-60 I can pump it 60-80 pretty much dead spot, 80-140 kick you in the nuts time.
