    Default Air tube mount

Can anyone tell me where the Air Tube Mount is?

My car was serviced before I moved house long distance & this was only the only thing that wasn't fixed!

It's written in the service report but marked 'not done', no idea why it wasn't

Surely this is something simple to do even for an elderly lady like myself!

    Anyone offer a solution?

I believe they're referring to the mount half-way along the air intake pipe which runs from your air filter box to the throttle body, most of the time these get brittle and break. You could ask someone crafty to glue it back on/re-attach it for you, but it's a non-issue. Mine's been broken for quote a long time now, along with a heap of others I'm aware of in other similar cars with no negative side-effects.

Thankyou, that's obviously why they didn't bother doing it.

I'll have a looked at it later today, so it holds the big black air pipe to the air filter box then?

Would it rattle around at all?

It secures the air duct to the strut tower, you'll see it if you try to lift the pipe a little and look underneath. It does move around to some degree but as it's joined at each end with flexible rubber joints, it'll stay in place without it.
