Default Head Unit doesn't remember settings

Hey all. I have a Sony head unit in my VN and whenever I turn on my car each time I go for a drive, it doesn't remember the radio station it was previously on and the time etc. It basically resets itself each time. Is it something to do with the power?

    Cheers.

yeah sounds like its not getting power while the car is turned off i think they need to be hooked up to something that has constant power running to it. cos i had this problem with my deck in my old car.
but thats all about i know lol im sure someone will let ya know shouldnt be hard to fix

Yer, you only have the Acc power connected. Need to get to the wires behind the unit and connect a constant power supply, there will be one in the factory loom I'm pretty sure.

you probably mixed up some of the wiring. recheck the diagrams and double check all the wiring.

    that's what happened to me.
You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. This is your wake up call.

Yeah Power and ACC are around the wrong way, when you swap them around it will be fine and the memory will stay there and the stations will be logged into the cd player.

Will I have to pull apart my whole console/dash to do it? My CD player is just sitting in the slot I haven't mounted it.
