I broke the bleeder valve in one of the front calipers in my VN yesterday while i was changing the fluid, I baught 2 front calipers off a VP from the wreckers. They have cooling fins on the top sort of like a line trimmer engine. Are there any differences and are they better then the calipers without cooling fins?
vp had cooling fins
you will need new rotors if you plan on using them calipers then vp rotors are 290mm and the vn had 270mm sorry maybe best to take them back and get vn ones buddy
They will bolt up, but your discs are to small for those calipers. Ive never done it but i rekon the back of the brake pad will be sitting off the disk if you used VN discs.
