    Default vn Calais electrical problem

    hey i have a problem with the rear indicators not working, the stop lights, reverse lights, rear interior lights, tail lights all have stopped working.... i also beleive that what ever has caused this has also stopped the fuel tank from sending the information to the dash....the car has a full tank of petrol but the gauge reads empty and the distance to go says 0kms
    please help...... Thanks

    Check the connector behind the drivers kick panel. the main harness joins the rear loom at this point.

    Maybe check fuses and all that for the rear tail lights...

    check your earth points for corrosion and tension . Vn's had a nasty habbit of voltage feed back from bad earths and rusted connections rear light looms would rust out due to leaking tail lights .

    Hey thanks to everyone but 88greenVN you were right it was where the main harness connects to the rear loom, it had come unplugged
    once again Thanks
