5Lt Drop Tank swap?

Hi guys,
i have a VN V6 S1 sedan and want to put in a drop tank out of a VN 5litre, is it hard to do? , whats involved?, has anyone done it before? and is it possible?

a step by step would be grealty appreciated if anyone can be bothered,,

They should mount up exactly the same as each other. All you will need to do is make sure you get the sender unit with the 85L tank, as the 63L V6 one will not work!

is it expencive? worth getting brand new?... or second hand will do fine?

oh and another thing, ive got a VN S1.. would it matter if the tank is from either a VN S2, or even a VP?
would it still fit?

Just make sure you look at the sender unit from the V8 tank as I think VP series 2 they started to put the return line on the sender unit, where as before that it was on the tank.

So Id just get a VN 85L tank to play it safe.
