hey guys need to ask if it is legal to use a white neon as a rear number plate light just a small one nothing too bright
Failing that does anyone have a spar vn calis rear bumber lol
assuming you cant see the neon itself, only the radiating light, should be fine
From what I understand you can't have a white light pointing directly backwards unless they are reversing lights with reverse gear engaged. On normal reversing lights you can't see the light directly, just the reflected light off the plate.
Reaper
you'll get the bored cops that will pull you up because they can, then leave you sit there for 15 - 20 minutes while they try find an excuse to give you a fine over something silly. not worth the hassle imo
Although neons are somewhat illegal, blue and red are a no no.
I can't see any problem with a white light, especially since it's lighting up your numberplate.
But yeah, ring transport if your worried.
lmao levymetal
thanks guys i did ring the rta but had to talk to a bloody curry munchin moron who said "why am i doing up a commodore why not buy a new car" might try the highway patrol guys just to be safe
