vn tacho not working

Hey guys, the tacho on my vn isnt working, How can i diagnose/fix the problem? cheers

Have you smacked the top of the dash with your palm at all? if it works after than then its a dry solder problem.

Solution to Sticky fuel/temp guages

yes i know the thread is about ,"stick fuel gauges" but on my VN the tacho sometimes sticks too.

yea, its not completely stuck, its just not nworking properly, it sits atg zero when idleing, but around 1-2000rpm when driving, regardless of what revs ur doing...

My tacho does the same in my Vn S and the fuel guage sometimes just sits on empty

Cheers guys, all the other gauges work as far as I can tell, might just live with it for now, unless anyone has a free dash lying around lol

sometimes my speedo stays at 0, then as i go to about 100, it zips to 170-180, stuck there, then hits my speed lmao, weird, only sometimes but, my fuel guage sticks, proly dry solder
