    Default spare wheel tools location

can any one tell me where they put the wheel spanner and winder bar in the vn commodore boot. when i got my car they were just floating around the wheel well. i know the jack sits up above the tire but is there meant to be a better spot for the other ones.

I have a full size trolley jack and a wheel brace in my boot. Just use the normal strap that holds the wheel in (if your only using a shitty 15in spare) with the jack and brace against the wheel, and the strap around them both. It stretches just enough

For the standard setup, the wheel brace goes through the loop in the end of the woven nylon strap that holds the spare wheel/tyre in place. When the nylon strap is fed through the steel loop in the spare wheel well the wheel brace stops against the steel loop so retaining the strap.

The other end of the nylon strap goes through the metal ring in the rubber strap at the top.

The crank end of the winder goes in the pocket in the woven nylon strap and the straight end is held against the strap by a plastic tie, which has probably gone missing = tuck it in between the rubber strap and tyre.
