No - I presume you are talking about V6??? You just need to change more stuff.

I've just been through all this about 2 weeks. It was a bit of a mission but heres what i found

-Either Change the loom or extend a couple of wires here and there for sensors ie. water temp
-If series 1 has aluminium pan instead of big **** off heavy bellhousing prob easier to keep that for series 2 engine much easier to access.
-swap radiator and overlfow bottle as can't fill series 2 engine without it because different hose postioning and a few different hoses ie. top radiator hose and top heater hose to back of inlet manifold.
-anything from s1 engine can be swapped on to tall s2 engine if needed except for injector rails won't fit different inlet manifold

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head i'll look at my photos and add more details if i find anything.
As for exhaust i replaced mine with extractors at the same time so i didn't really pay attention but i'm fairly certain is all the same where it counts.

Hope that helps i will hopefully post some pics soon for others wanting to do the same thing
