Default VN v8 hunting revs at idle

I have replaced and or changed everything that i can think of that would cause the idle of my car to hunt.

    All replaced:
    - IAC
    - TPS
    - O2 sensor
    - All vacuum hoses
    - Brake booster was leaking, replaced and it improved a bit
    - Injectors

    checked all points of vacuum

When the car was running dual fuel it idled perfect on gas but hunted on petrol. Since then i have removed the gas system and replaced the engine with a fresh one.

Could it have had some tweaks in the tune up to suit gas better? In other words, could the hunting be a problem in the tune?

map sensor, same as the V6 ones, usually you can tap on them when the idle is playing up and it runs fine for a minute then goes back to hunting again

    thanks for replies

strgas: but the thing is.... it hunted on petrol on the old motor as well! pcv and breathers are clear/ new.

greenfoam: i have only really mechanically switched on to ecotecs, so the map sensor didn't scream out to me straight away.. my bad. i shall try that.

Are series 1 v6 and v8 map sensors the same by any chance?
