can anyone help me work out why my vp series 2 starts by itself, it freaked me out the other day, heard my car start , thought someone was tryn to knock it off .!!! went out side, car locked and engine running???? wtf?????????????
do you have an aftermarket alarm? engine timer?

Take it apart? Me? No!
The start relay might be stuck closed? But there should still be no power to the ecu, ignition or fuel pump...weirdness. Has this ever happened before?

I was thinkin of that to.. I'd d/c the battery .
I have heard of cars starting up by em selves.. but mainly caused by the Alarm System wired wrong
