Hey boys and Gals,
First off Merry Christmas and New Year to all!
Down to the point, remember the Code 12? well, my VN likes to show this whilst having moderate difficulties driving.....
This is before this code: i was having previous problems as i was getting 34 and 42 codes which i found that the vacuum hose for the MAP sensor to TB was stuffed aswell with the DFI module.
Now: After having fixed 34 and 42 i am now getting code 12 where the CEL likes to come on randomly for short instances but also will stay permanent random too but this is where it get confusing..... Whilst there is no CEL, it runs great but, as soon as CEL comes on )code 12) the vn feels as tho it drops back into 'limp mode' AND at the exact same/everytime the CEL comes on the auto 'jumps'?, by wat i mean by that is, the RPM 'sounds' different in a way u can tell it has changed, theres no power wats so ever and the auto takes alot longer to kickback.... but i will add this detail aswell, whilst the engine light is on and stationary, whether in Park or Gear it will randomly stall!
I hope if anyone could help me with this everything is greatly appreciated, dont be shy to ask me anything ill be more than glad to provide as much info as possible!
I'd try a second ECU if you have replacved the DFI & coils and the CAS.

no probs bud ill try just cant get my hands on one yet... plus atm the harmonic balancer gone past its used by date so i havent been able to afford replacing the balancer or CAS yet neither
Is the balancer cracked in the rubber bit? But I dont think the balancer will be the stalling problem - can be the cas. The car tends to fail when hot and can start if cooled off a bit. The coils/DFI/ECU can be the stalling issue when rendom stall happen. Some times can be a bad connection - but themechanic has closed off all the pins for good contact.

the balancer's rubber isnt too bad just 'out of balance' if that makes sense?
i think all these probs happen whilst the car is at operating temp rather than being cold?
im pretty sure the DFI connector is pretty firm from when i replaced the DFI/coil setup but i wont rule it out yet
