Vn series 1 - series 2 engine swap (cooling)

I've just rebuilt a series 2 engine to swap into my series 1 vn berlina. series 2 inlet manifold doesn't have the 2 lines than run out the top at the front of the manifold to the pressurised water reservoir.
They look like breather lines. can be seen in pics in this thread vn v6 intake manifold/head difference between series one and series 2/vp/vr
i've been told i can just block the hose from water bottle and keep series one bottle and radiator just wondering if anyone can verify that for me.
I've managed to nut out the differences in the looms and overcome all the other headaches so far will post pics and some info for others planning to do the same thing once complete.
Just need to finish coolong system and should be all systems go.

Just realised no where to fill up s2 engine if i keep s1 cooling sytem anyways so going to go get radiator wednesday. 3 weekends and counting, startin to think i should have just rebuilt the s1 engine
