i turn my lights on the other night a the first fuse poped. changed it turn the lights on poped again. my dash lights are not working or my rear lights. i have a vn v8 calais??? what could it be?
The small looms at the rear of VN/VP are pretty failure prone, unplug the 2 looms behind tail lights and try again. If the fuse don't pop then plug one in and see what happens or just replace both. They cost about $20 each, they are a nightmare to repair, just replace. If it's not that let us know more about it.

i unplugged both rear light looms and it is still popping?
Which lights are working, which are not, which fuse (description from fuse map) is blowing?

fuse 1 witch is dash light and radio. the parker lights are not working and the rear light. brake lights all light up. and the main head light come on.
So you've got a short in your parkers or the dash lights. Most likely the parkers. You haven't put a new stereo in have you?

yeah i have but have had it in for a few weeks and have try turning the parkers with out the stereo system?
I suspect the "lights" wire for the stereo could be connected directly to an earth. That would mean it doesn't matter whether the stereo is on or off.
