Help Air Con Question

For a while now the air con has been getting cold then hot, but today when this happened the car started to run rough as well, as though it had a flat spot, does the air con have anything to do with the way the car is running? After we turned the air con off, as it was pissing my partner off, the car ran fine. This car really has him headbutting a wall at times, so your help is very much appreciated. TIA.

Help another question
Today of all days when it was 35.6 the air con started playing up, this is what happened.
Going up Creek Road from Carindale it made a funny noise coming out of the carpark, but anyway we put the air con on and then we were cruising along but it felt like the car was really struggling to get anywhere and then as soon as we turned off the air con the car picked up straight away. Any suggestions guys this would be really appreciated.

aircon does put strain on the motor but im guessing it shouldnt be that noticable i would take it to a good aircon mob. good luck at least you have air con haha

Thanks Jayy. This car has been a problem since obtaining it.
Just crazy when air con is on yesterday it was really struggling to get anywhere, like something was dragging it backwards, but the car was going forwards, not very good with describing stuff, but that is what it felt like. Like there was a pulley or something really struggling, then as soon as air con was off, the car picked up and was fine. And it did not help that everyone was going so bloody slow either.

The compressor isnt starting to seize? With the engine off see how easy it is to turn the front plate on the compressor.

HI GUYS I HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MY AIRCO ON HOT DAYS THE AIRCO BLOWS COLD AIR BUT ONCE THE CAR IS WARM IT STARTS BLOWING HOT AIR.. WICH I HEAR IS A COMMON PROBLEM IN THE VN THIS IS DUE TO THE CONDENSOR GETTING HOT I WAS WONDERING IF ANY1 HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM N RESOLVED IT.I WAS THINKING OF TRYING 2 USE A VS CONDENSOR OR MAYBE MOVIN IT IF POSSIBLE..

The compressor isnt starting to seize? With the engine off see how easy it is to turn the front plate on the compressor.

Have tried that and it moves freely.
Is it possible to disconnect the wire to the compressor and then have it in the operating position to still keep the car cool with out it affecting anything.
