advice and opinions please

Hey guys and girls i need some advice
i have a 92 vp running an 89 calis engine with the vp intake (cooling and what not)
and as she is off the road and it is in no rush to be back on the road i want to do her up a bit and was wondering on a few things like whats the best brand of pistons gasketts etc
and what would you suggest in the way of gettin more power my ultimate aim here is to produce a semi show type of car thanks all

You could probably put in a stock LS1 cheaper than an all out rebuild on a v6.

depends what you want. if you want to spend lots of money on a slow car, rebuilt the v6. if you want to spend a small amount of money on an insanely fast car, drop an ls1 into it . if you really want the v6, it's going to have to be supercharged. if i had a v6 the only thing i would do would be to bolt on an sc14.
