Okay so I went to open my boot by using the button in the glove box as per usual, doesn't open; nothing out of the ordinary really normally I need a mate to push on the boot to get the lock to pop open. That didn't work, even after pushing, shaking, bouncing and few foul words. My boot lock isn't the same ignition and door key, so it doest open, and I wasn't give then key for it. I have my sub box blocking getting into the boot from inside the car. So anyone else have this problem? or know how to get my boot open? Even stop it from jamming like a btch almost evertime I close it?
its a VN, take an appropriate size flat head screwdriver to the boot lock, shove it in and turn it, will pop open soon enough with a bit of jiggling.
The lock is usually still good cept if you stuff it, in which case remove the lock and put a new one in that you have the key for![]()
My electric boot release often needs a good jiggle/ bump on the boot to work, easy fix for this? I don't find it important/annoying enough to play around with on my own and risk breaking things like I usually seem to![]()
