VN V6 Throttlebody

hi all, what sort of gap (if any) should there be between the throttlebody and the butterfly? The one I'm looking at I can see a small amount of daylight all the way round when i hold it up and try to look through it in the closed position. I'm guessing the gap is less than 0.5mm.

I've been told the car is stalling because there's oil and shit in the throttlebody, sounds like crap to me though. The only obvious thing i could see is the clerarance between the body and butterfly, the rest of it looks not too bad.

clean your throttle body and iac valve too check your base idle settings and go from there
