Exclamation VS window regulator in VN

    Hi everyone,

A simple question, can a vs berlina's electric window regulator fit a vn calais? I understand that the vn has the regulator pop riveted, while the vs has them bolted.

I have pulled out my brothers working motor from his vs berlina and want to fit it in my vn calais. I've tested it and it works but just want to know if it will fit my model car? Also, was the VN calais regulator a boshe motor?

    Has anybody attempted this before?

    Cheers
    Brendan

I have checked the power connection but i just wondered if it will sit nicely with the teeth and will it require me to drill new holes into the door frame?

if its a front window you can just swap the motor itself instead of the whole reg. no drilling or anything that way

no..its my left hand side power window in the rear thats failed. I got the motor and assembly that came with the vs berlina and compared it to the vn calais version and there slightly different. The vn's version has a roller on both sides (where the vs has only one) for the wire to slide through and the plate that holds the motor together is bigger than the vn's. Do you still reckon it'll work?

Thank you to everyone who helped me with my question. I have successfully placed the vs berlina window in my vn calais and IT WORKS!!!!!

Now I can go (commodore style) cruising with all four windows down .
